This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take on the role of functional leader or project manager for the execution of complex and enterprise-level projects.
• Capable of managing highly complex change management requests related to strategic initiatives and the independent rollout of enhanced capabilities to various sites.
• Efficiently drive and coordinate the deployment of intricate functionalities across all locations.
• Skilled at conveying functionality to all pertinent groups through “net meetings” and chairing symposium sessions with diverse audience levels.
• Oversee the Continuous Improvement Process with complete ownership and accountability, including the ability to identify and lead the team in researching new functionalities or enhancing existing IT solutions across related application tools and systems.
• Proficient in hands-on configuration across multiple modules for a variety of projects and applications.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of integration touchpoints among all enterprise modules and applications.
• Capable of drafting highly detailed functional specifications for outputs down to the table structure level, with a solid grasp of relationships/design for the overall solution and potential new customizations to ensure quality specifications, including screens, sub-modules, and extended functionality for current modules.
• Able to provide flow diagrams, entity relationships, mapping, and table definitions for advanced design concepts.
• Actively engage in sharing ideas and information within the department.
• Proactively organize verbal and written ideas clearly and utilize an appropriate business communication style.
• Consistently provide regular updates to relevant managers effectively.
• Encourage input from team members and ask pertinent questions.
• Identify innovative methods to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems (e.g., modifying responsibilities, consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes, or completely re-engineering processes and systems).
• Foster continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
• Ensure that fundamental procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
• Propose new ideas and suggestions for enhancement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are considered “best in field.”
• Show a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by resolving issues swiftly and effectively, prioritizing customer concerns.
• Consult with the reporting manager on complex or unusual situations.
• Establish new measurement systems wherever feasible.
• Share knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are communicated throughout the Jabil organization.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and procedures (e.g., Health, Safety, and Quality).
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding all data and proprietary information, whether it pertains to Jabil or specific customers.
• Interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.
• Uphold discretion and confidentiality concerning all IT system-related information.
• Understand and align with the business and IT strategic direction.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations associated with this position as directed by the supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems, or 5 to 6 years of equivalent external work experience in the business area from both IT and business perspectives.
• Formal certification in the Primary Module is required.
• Must possess advanced configuration knowledge and skills across multiple modules and applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and applications across enterprise planning, supply chain, and shop floor functions.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and manage other team members on projects.
• Advanced understanding of business processes through practical business experience or an operations role.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of Project Management experience in related applications on a large-scale project with a proven track record of implementation across multiple complex installations.
