This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Full Accountability

• Manage the entire sales process from the initial contact to the final signed contract, taking full charge of advancing and closing all opportunities, whether they are generated by yourself or supported by the SDR team.

• Development of Enterprise Pipeline

• Create and convert a pipeline of Tier 1 and Tier 2 brands through a mix of SDR-supported initiatives, personal outreach, networking, and utilizing your existing connections.

• Engaging with the Market Proactively

• Consistently generate opportunities through industry events, networking, and direct outreach to maintain a steady flow of high-quality discussions beyond those initiated by SDRs.

• Qualification of Ideal Customer Profile & Focus on Deals

• Efficiently assess opportunities against Venture Forge’s Ideal Customer Profile, concentrating on brands that possess the scale, structure, and commercial mindset to evolve into long-term strategic collaborators.

• Focus on high-value opportunities while actively disqualifying those that do not fit well.

• Management of Multi-Stakeholder Relationships

• Engage and influence various stakeholders across marketing, eCommerce, commercial, finance, and procurement departments.

• Strategic and Commercial Selling

• Lead discussions driven by commercial interests that position Amazon as a key revenue and profit channel, assisting brands in achieving growth through increased advertising expenditure, DSP adoption, and comprehensive funnel optimization.

• Structuring Commercial Agreements

• Develop and negotiate customized proposals, including retainer and performance-based models aligned with client objectives.

• Market Representation

• Represent Venture Forge at industry events, trade shows, and within your network to enhance visibility and create opportunities.

• Collaboration Internally

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.

• Development of Sales Function

• Contribute to the advancement of our sales strategy, aiding in defining how we effectively scale new business.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in personally closing deals of £150k+ annually within a marketing agency, eCommerce, or digital environment.

• Experience in selling retained services (£10k+ per month).

• Strong background working with Tier 1 consumer brands.

• Proven ability to manage lengthy, complex sales processes.

• Experience in navigating multi-stakeholder purchasing processes, including procurement.

• Strong commercial insight, with experience in deal structuring and negotiation.

• Capability to independently build a pipeline through a combination of outbound activities and existing relationships.

• Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders (Director / C-suite level).

• Experience in selling solutions directly linked to revenue growth, commercial performance, or P&L impact, rather than solely marketing outputs.

• An established network of relevant brand-side contacts is highly advantageous.
