📋 Description

• Deliver strategic communications guidance and tactical assistance as a practitioner, planner, and internal consultant concentrating on business units and/or functional areas.

• Facilitate and shape the strategic thinking and direction of business leaders, partners, and stakeholders regarding communication strategies for program, product, service, or capability launches or enhancements.

• Design, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of comprehensive, multi-audience integrated communication plans and tactics that support crucial business initiatives.

• Coordinate communication projects with other enterprise teams and take necessary actions to collaborate effectively with them.

• Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Strategic Communications & Reputation, Sr. Director of Enterprise Communications, and Director of Internal Communications to continually enhance the communications function.

• Exhibit success in securing buy-in from leaders and internal business partners for strategic initiatives.

• Manage the complete development of integrated messages across various communication channels.

• Provide extensive communications support within the designated pillar, aiding in editorial calendar management, content coordination, and project tracking.

• Foster collaboration with communications colleagues and other enabling functions to ensure cohesive planning and execution.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of communications initiatives to evaluate impact and guide future communications strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of relevant work experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, marketing communications, journalism, liberal arts, public relations, or a related field is required.

• Exceptional communication and writing abilities, with the capacity to influence and align stakeholders to a common vision.

• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail and a refined design sensibility.

• Ensure communications reflect the desired tone and style: clear, engaging, and focused on enhancing the customer experience.

• Professional demeanor, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a strong aptitude for building relationships and collaborating in a complex, matrixed corporate environment.

• Experience acting as a communications consultant to executives and senior leaders.

• Background in working with media, key opinion leaders, consumers, and other stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and consensus-building skills, including experience in staff management, with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

• Capability and willingness to engage in strategic, managerial, and tactical elements of the position.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert customer needs into business requirements.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in healthcare business operations and management, with strong capabilities in understanding business models (including financial acumen, return on investment models, quality improvement programs, and consumer healthcare solutions).

• Proven experience using analytics to frame challenges and drive business results.

• Strong project, resource, and vendor management abilities, with the capacity to implement programs swiftly, accurately, and efficiently.

• Demonstrated expertise in digital communications, email engagement, social media, and other new/emerging technologies.

• Proactive approach and a sense of urgency in delivering enhanced experiences for customers.

• Proficient in communications planning, with the ability to transform a business requirement into a structured communications strategy, including objectives, audience analysis, channel strategy, messaging, and timing.

• Comfort with measurement and analytics, utilizing data and channel performance metrics to evaluate the impact of communications efforts and apply insights for future plans.

• Adaptability to work across a variety of communications needs, shifting priorities, and formats while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent tasks, track project status, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-output environment.

• Collaborative mindset, working effectively within a team, accepting direction and feedback constructively, and managing internal client relationships with professionalism and care.
