This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and manage a detailed communications calendar aligned with organizational priorities and UK programs.
• Coordinate integrated campaigns spanning social media, fundraising, events, partnerships, and program initiatives.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all Foundation channels and target audiences.
• Identify opportunities to highlight organizational milestones, partnerships, campaigns, and mission-driven moments.
• Oversee content planning and publishing on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Manage campaigns across various Foundation and program social media accounts.
• Craft engaging captions, source visuals, and collaborate with graphic/video partners as necessary.
• Handle scheduling and publishing through social media management tools.
• Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries when appropriate, and explore opportunities to enhance reach and engagement.
• Uphold brand voice, ensuring quality and consistency throughout all content.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of creative projects from initial briefing to final delivery.
• Manage relationships with graphic designers, videographers, photographers, editors, and other creative contractors.
• Create creative briefs and ensure projects stay on schedule and within their defined scope.
• Review creative outputs and provide clear, actionable, and implementable feedback.
• Collect, consolidate, and prioritize feedback from internal stakeholders into a unified revision process.
• Maintain organized creative assets and oversee asset management across various projects.
• Spearhead the development and production of the Foundation's Annual Impact Report.
• Coordinate communications materials for fundraising campaigns, grant announcements, partnerships, events, program launches, and organizational updates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to co-manage the Foundation's website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and reflective of organizational priorities.
• Oversee website updates for programs, campaigns, impact stories, fundraising initiatives, events, and organizational news.
• Work alongside external web developers and designers to implement new pages, functionalities, and enhancements.
• Review and approve website content, imagery, and layouts prior to publication.
• Monitor website performance and user experience, identifying areas for improved engagement and accessibility.
• Assist in the creation of presentations, newsletters, digital reports, and other marketing and communications materials as required.
• Track audience responses, mentions, and direct messages across various platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
• Identify opportunities to promote partner content or mission-aligned news.
• Partner with program, fundraising, operations, and leadership teams to assess communications needs and priorities.
• Ensure timely collection of content, photography, success stories, and program updates.
• Keep communications projects on track by proactively managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Monitor platform performance and campaign success.
• Prepare concise monthly reports that highlight engagement, growth, campaign performance, and recommendations.
• Suggest improvements based on analytics, audience trends, and organizational priorities.
• Over 5 years of experience in communications, social media, or digital marketing, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Proven track record of managing communications projects from planning to execution.
• Experience in coordinating and managing external creative vendors, including designers, photographers, videographers, and editors.
• Exceptional copywriting and editing abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of providing concise, constructive, and actionable creative feedback.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple concurrent priorities.
• Experience in developing communications calendars and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Asana, HubSpot, Canva Pro, Google Workspace, Frame.io, and social media management platforms.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, remote environment.
