Enterprise Architect – IT/OT, Industrial Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Convert customers' business objectives into compelling platform value narratives, architectural principles, and adoption strategies.

• Collaborate on designing target IT/OT architectures for software-defined automation and Physical AI across various locations.

• Facilitate maturity assessments and architecture workshops involving business, IT, and OT stakeholders.

• Create phased transformation roadmaps that include clear risk mitigation strategies and plans for value realization.

• Assist sales teams in high-level discussions, business case development, and establishing long-term framework agreements.

• Identify potential expansion opportunities across different sites, use cases, and geographical regions.

• Ensure consistent architectural practices throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or IT/OT Transformation Architect.

• Demonstrated experience in large enterprise environments and automation sectors.

• Deep understanding of cloud and enterprise IT architectures, OT systems, and manufacturing realities.

• Familiarity with industrial robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and platform-based business models.

• Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and CIO/CDO/CTO teams, as well as OT and engineering teams.

• Exceptional workshop facilitation, structuring, and abstraction capabilities.

• Results-driven mindset characterized by personal accountability, curiosity, and a pragmatic approach.

• Proficient in both English and German (C1 level).
