This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Establish and implement a business-aligned integration architecture strategy and vision for Empower.
• Create, document, and uphold technology roadmaps for enterprise integration capabilities.
• Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, standards, and decision-making frameworks.
• Advise teams on integration techniques such as synchronous APIs and asynchronous messaging.
• Utilize expertise in various architectural practices to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Set governance protocols for API and event lifecycles.
• Design and modernize intricate systems into cloud-compatible applications.
• Engage in the assessment of new applications and technologies.
• Formulate and enforce best practices and guidance for technology teams.
• Provide thought leadership and uphold the Enterprise Architecture discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in developing, integrating, architecting, and delivering enterprise software systems.
• 7+ years of experience in creating solution architectures and strategies across various architectural domains.
• Proven experience leading enterprise integration architecture across APIs, messaging, events, SaaS, cloud, legacy, and partner integration scenarios.
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI specifications, API gateways, API management, API security, versioning, lifecycle management, and developer experience practices.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging, publish/subscribe patterns, event streaming, event contracts, schema evolution, idempotency, replay, and eventual consistency.
• Practical architecture experience with one or more integration technologies or platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.
• Experience in designing secure integrations utilizing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, mTLS, certificates, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid integration patterns across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, container platforms, and on-premises systems.
• Expertise in addressing architectural cross-cutting concerns and trade-offs.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data contracts, and canonical data models where applicable.
• Experience with DevOps processes and tools.
