Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• The Enterprise Architect is tasked with designing, documenting, and spearheading the implementation of technical solutions for clients following the acquisition of Veeam products.

• This position serves as a bridge between customer business needs and Veeam’s technologies, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and in line with best practices, while also facilitating partner-driven implementations.

• The role entails providing technical leadership, consulting with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve successful results—especially for large enterprise clients undergoing digital transformation.

• In addition to direct design and delivery responsibilities, the Enterprise Architect creates reference architectures and design guidelines that standardize deployments for both customer-led and partner-led initiatives.

• Furthermore, they work alongside pre-sales teams to guarantee a seamless transition from initial solution design to implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• IT experience, particularly in a solution architecture or technical leadership capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity.

• Practical experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security within enterprise settings.

• Strong technical expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage solutions.

• Proven history of leading transformation initiatives for large enterprise clients, ensuring that technical solutions bolster business-wide digital evolution.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking, security, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), and IT governance.

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities with a strong aptitude for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in post-sales consulting, professional services, or solution delivery roles involving direct customer interaction.

• Frequent collaboration with internal teams (Professional Services, Pre-Sales, Sales, Partners).

• Engagement with customers and partners to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

• Willingness to travel to support global enterprise implementations (up to 50%).
