Enterprise Architect – Application Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and articulate Empower’s application architecture strategy.

• Lead the Application Architecture Guild and promote the adoption of architecture standards.

• Provide technical leadership in the realm of modern application architecture.

• Guide engineering and product teams in creating scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.

• Collaborate with business and engineering leaders to ensure architecture decisions support business outcomes.

• Establish principles for application architecture that encompass integration, service design, and security.

• Assess emerging technologies to determine their relevance to Empower’s application landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in software engineering, systems development, and technology delivery.

• More than 7 years of experience in architecture roles with substantial hands-on expertise in application and solution architecture.

• Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing application architecture standards, patterns, and governance within a large, complex organization.

• Strong knowledge of modern architectural methodologies, including cloud-native and distributed systems, microservices, API-first, and event-driven integration patterns.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
