This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of solutions engineers.
• Execute performance management, career development planning, and ongoing feedback cycles.
• Establish team culture, operating rhythm, and engineering standards from the foundation.
• Collaborate with leadership on hiring strategies, team organization, and long-term development.
• Engage closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions in dynamic and uncertain environments.
• Convert evolving requirements into clear technical solutions and actionable execution plans.
• Propel rapid iteration cycles and empower teams to deliver promptly while upholding quality.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and obstacles.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to ensure teams operate efficiently.
• Clearly communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Own team-level reporting and operational metrics, which include:
• Delivery status and project health.
• Resource utilization and capacity planning.
• SLA adherence and incident trends.
• Provide regular updates to leadership regarding progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting systems.
• Manage documentation standards across solutions, integrations, and processes.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership when necessary, particularly in the initial stages.
• Drive the delivery of high-quality software across various initiatives in fast-paced environments.
• Conduct hands-on technical work while also providing guidance and direction to team members on implementation, best practices, and problem-solving.
• Utilize advanced AI tools (including Claude, Level 3 proficiency) to boost productivity, automate workflows, and aid decision-making.
• A minimum of 8 years in software engineering or relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a management role.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams and executing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to function as both an individual contributor and a technical guide/mentor.
• Advanced proficiency with AI tools, particularly Claude (Level 3 or equivalent), encompassing prompt engineering, workflow integration, and practical application in business or technical settings.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable guidance for others.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Capability to convert business objectives into technical execution.
• Experience in hiring, coaching, and managing the performance of engineers.
