Enterprise AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical strategy, design, and functioning of the company’s AI gateway and primary AI enablement platform.

• Establish and enforce standards for sanctioned AI providers, models, data sources, shared tools, and usage practices.

• Develop and sustain controls for access, routing, policy enforcement, auditability, and financial operations reporting related to AI utilization.

• Implement necessary identity, logging, and related controls in accordance with broader IT and security protocols.

• Collaborate with the AI Enablement Council to convert business requirements into scalable platform capabilities and guidelines.

• Assist with onboarding, documentation, and internal training for business teams utilizing approved AI tools.

• Assess gateway platforms and ecosystem capabilities to enhance flexibility, governance, and business value.

• Ensure dependable platform operations, problem resolution, and ongoing enhancement across the AI landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, security engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in implementing scalable technical solutions that effectively balance usability, governance, and security.

• Practical experience with LLM infrastructure, AI gateways, AI workflow platforms, or comparable AI enablement technologies.

• Familiarity with access controls, identity integration, logging, API-based platforms, and financial or usage reporting.

• Ability to establish standards, make independent technical decisions, and execute tasks in a cross-functional setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proven track record of ownership, dependability, curiosity, and sound judgment.
