This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Actively drive revenue growth by acquiring new Enterprise clients throughout Canada.
• Develop and implement a hunter-oriented territory plan to identify, target, and engage prospective accounts.
• Generate and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage intricate, consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, including extended deal timelines and proof-of-concept phases.
• Build trusted relationships with C-level and VP-level executives, positioning Zendesk as a strategic ally.
• Present persuasive, value-driven presentations that align Zendesk’s offerings with customer business goals.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance prospecting strategies, expedite deal progress, and optimize win rates.
• Regularly maintain a precise sales forecast and surpass quarterly and annual new business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on Zendesk products, competitive landscape, and trends influencing the Canadian enterprise SaaS market.
• Utilize data, insights, and territorial intelligence to prioritize outreach and identify opportunities in target accounts.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise sales within cloud/software B2B environments, with a significant emphasis on acquiring new logos.
• A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, demonstrating strong performance in 2 of the last 3 years; recognition in President’s Club is advantageous.
• Proficiency in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value-driven processes with proof of concept stages.
• Experience managing customer relationships with organizations generating over $1 billion in revenue.
• A successful history of selling to VP and C-level executives within Enterprise accounts.
• Exceptional skills in presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Experience in creating and utilizing territory and account plans effectively.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative approach, and a strong desire for personal and professional development.
• Demonstrated industry experience with the ability to navigate industry trends and establish connections with key decision-makers and advocates.
• Familiarity with essential sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, Seismic, and Looker.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
