This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Accurately process incoming and outgoing paperwork as well as electronic communications through meticulous manual data entry across various databases.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, both internal and external, concerning new and existing enrollment files.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to update existing files and finalize new enrollment files.
• Engage with program stakeholders on a daily basis via phone and electronic means.
• Register potential and current customers in multiple databases.
• Receive, investigate, organize, file, and retrieve confidential and time-sensitive forms and documents.
• Follow up with individuals and families from the state to assist in resolving issues.
• Oversee, distribute, and monitor program-specific materials.
• Maintain a comprehensive filing system.
• Analyze and address customer inquiries effectively.
• Perform thorough and precise research.
• Adhere to contract, state, and Medicaid requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and improved working conditions.
• Occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate high-volume demands.
• Carry out other assigned work-related tasks.
• Support Acumen’s cybersecurity compliance by adhering to relevant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
• Capability to effectively manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
• Strong professional oral and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and ability to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional integrity.
• Comfort working with numbers.
• Ability to read and accurately work with formulas.
• Proficient in 10-key data entry by touch.
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands successfully.
• Skillful in handling conflict and challenging customers.
