Enrolled Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and authorize government filings (Form 5500 with Schedule SBs, PBGC premiums, 8955-SSA)

• Evaluate annual regulatory compliance testing for intricate plans

• Analyze and communicate findings related to the actuarial valuation process

• Maintain timely responses to align with clients' needs and the department's timing standards

• Review and provide benefit calculations and projected benefit estimates, including QDROs, RMDs, and in-service distribution benefits

• Act as a technical resource for the Actuarial Analyst

• Advise on significant plan sponsor decisions such as updates, terminations, funding requirements, etc.

• Prepare and file plan termination documents such as the PBGC 500 and 501 or IRS Form 5310

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrolled Actuary certification (or in the process of enrollment)

• Over 5 years of experience in defined benefit plan administration

• Strong commitment to client service

• Preferred: Experience with FT Williams valuation software

• At least 1 year of experience in small plan sales projections
