This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• A professional with experience in both one-on-one and group classes, conducted online and in-person.
• Strategically plan and update English courses to ensure a dynamic program that enhances students’ proficiency in practical contexts.
• Develop and create curriculum programs tailored for Immigration, Academic, and Business purposes.
• Design, plan, and assist in the creation of Teaching Materials.
• Test, evaluate, and assess students’ proficiency levels and requirements pertaining to English learning.
• Organize and execute official Test Preparation for students.
• Plan, evaluate, and conduct interview preparation for individual students as required.
• Assess students' language requirements and design lessons in alignment with the Course Curriculum and Student Progress Reports for the designated level.
• Foster an environment that promotes equal opportunities for all students in self-expression, self-reflection, collaboration, and leadership.
• Evaluate student progress and provide individual consultations based on the details specified in a Progress Report.
• Enhance students’ vocabulary acquisition for both formal and informal scenarios, such as dialogues, discussions, role-plays, and outings.
• Support and motivate students in their self-correction efforts.
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback to students in ways that bolster their self-confidence in utilizing English.
• Other related responsibilities.
• A background in teaching both one-on-one and group classes, whether online or in-person.
• Ability to plan and refresh English courses to ensure an engaging curriculum that elevates students’ skills in a real-world context.
• Experience in designing and crafting program curriculums for Immigration, Academic, and Business needs.
• Proficiency in designing, planning, and aiding in the development of Teaching Materials.
• Capability to test, evaluate, and assess students’ levels and needs in relation to English learning.
• Experience in planning and executing official Test Preparation for students.
• Ability to plan, assess, and conduct preparation for individual students' interviews as necessary.
• Skills in assessing students' language needs and organizing lessons in accordance with the Course Curriculum and Student Progress Reports for the appropriate level.
• Capacity to create a supportive environment that encourages all students in self-expression, self-reflection, cooperation, and leadership.
• Ability to evaluate progress and meet with students individually based on the specifics outlined in a Progress Report.
• Experience in building students’ vocabulary for both formal and informal contexts, including dialogues, discussions, role-plays, and outings.
• Support and encourage students in their self-correction processes.
• Ability to assess and provide feedback in ways that enhance students' self-confidence in their use of English.
