This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Build a positive rapport and gain a thorough understanding of learners' needs while actively engaging them.
• Offer English tutoring sessions tailored for federal public servants, focusing particularly on oral second-language proficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of electronic administrative documentation.
• Utilize the provided teaching materials to enhance the tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Outstanding proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Proficient in spoken and written French.
• Comfortable using information and communication technologies, especially MS Outlook and Teams.
• Access to a computer equipped with webcam/video functionality.
• Professional demeanor, energetic attitude, creativity, and the ability to adapt to various learner types and proficiency levels.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Canadian Federal Public Service Commission exams and levels A, B, and C is a plus.
• Availability required from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
