Engineering Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• This role primarily focuses on the design and field validation of electrical and camera systems as well as components for on/off-highway vocational mobile equipment.

• A significant part of the job involves creating project timelines, scope of work documents, and detailed work instructions.

• Additional responsibilities include collaborating with suppliers for the selection of electrical system components.

• The role also entails developing and maintaining software for PLCs/Controllers and Camera Systems.

• Assisting production and field technicians with diagnostics related to electrical systems is another key duty of this position.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar work environment is required.

• Candidates should have experience with electrical systems and repairs pertaining to on-road and off-road vehicles or equipment.

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) or Controller software is a plus but not mandatory.

• Circuit design experience involving electromechanical components is also a plus but not essential.

• Knowledge of mobile equipment harness design is an additional advantage but not required.

• Familiarity with vehicle-mounted camera and recording systems is beneficial but not a requirement.
