This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Engages in a diverse range of control system projects.

• Capable of overseeing multiple project-related tasks and/or managing large projects from start to finish.

• Offers engineering support for projects spearheaded by other team members.

• Takes full responsibility for the assigned projects and tasks.

• Guides and nurtures a team.

• Follows directions and seeks advice from assigned project leads, supervisors, and company management.

• Completes tasks with precision, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.

• Acts as the primary point of contact for clients on projects assigned to lead.

• Recognizes changes in project scope and tasks.

• Effectively manages and delegates tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and budget adherence.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with applicable technical experience.

• Generally, 7+ years of overall experience.

• Proven experience: At least 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer I or a similar role.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting piping and instrumentation diagrams as well as wiring diagrams.

• Capable of providing insights regarding field conditions in comparison to drawings.

• Experienced in creating and modifying Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.

• Highly knowledgeable in understanding, implementing, and advising others on the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

• Strong grasp of complex control system design.

• Capable of providing instrumentation specifications for intricate control systems.

• Skilled in value engineering specifications to deliver the most economical solutions.

• Customer Service: Communicates effectively, positively, and proactively with clients.
