This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain organization and progress in engineering projects: oversee ongoing tasks, identify obstacles, and assist the team in staying focused on upcoming activities.
• Take charge of quality assurance: evaluate our creations, leverage AI to streamline repetitive tasks, and develop Capybara tests when beneficial.
• Manage the bug pipeline: replicate issues, prioritize them, assign them to the appropriate engineer, and verify the resolution.
• Serve as the daily liaison between engineers, the product team, and the internal teams utilizing our tools.
• Collaborate with us to assess when implementing processes or rituals may be advantageous, while being mindful of associated costs and friction.
• Provide status updates so that both the team and leadership are informed of the current situation.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in project management, delivery, or QA roles, preferably within a small engineering team.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineers: capable of replicating a bug, interpreting a stack trace, and drafting a test case for automation.
• Practical QA experience: responsible for managing testing and a bug pipeline, whether manual or automated.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to automate tasks previously performed manually.
• Sound judgment regarding processes: implement structure when beneficial and abstain from it when not necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and dynamics of small teams. Experience working in environments with minimal processes while maintaining momentum.
