This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Conduct research and experimentation to specialize foundational models for agentic applications.
• Develop and maintain data and training pipelines.
• Stay updated on the latest research and be knowledgeable about cutting-edge advancements in LLMs, alignment, synthetic data generation, and code generation.
• Design, analyze, and refine training, fine-tuning, and data generation experiments.
• Produce high-quality, practical code.
• Collaborate with a team: plan upcoming tasks, engage in discussions, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLM).
• Profound understanding of Transformers.
• Solid foundation in deep learning principles.
• Strong discernment in data quality.
• Experience with post-training processes involving LLMs.
• Extensive usage and exploration of LLMs, with knowledge of their capabilities and limitations.
• Familiarity with distributed training concepts.
• Robust background in machine learning and engineering.
• Research experience in relevant fields.
• Proven ability to propose and assess innovative research concepts.
• Knowledgeable or actively contributing to advancements in several of the following areas: Fine-tuning and alignment of LLMs, synthetic data generation, continual learning, RLVR, and code generation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Possesses well-grounded opinions.
• Proficient programming skills.
• Experience with Linux.
• Strong algorithmic capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python with PyTorch or Jax.
• Familiar with modern tools, including the latest code agents, and constantly seeking improvements.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to question code quality standards when necessary.
• Prior experience in non-ML programming, particularly in languages other than Python, is a plus.
