This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Lead the Integration Specialist team: you establish the standards, conduct 1:1 meetings, create the leveling rubric, and support every commitment made by the team. This is a place for growth, or you implement changes.
• Utilize team throughput as a key performance indicator: you anticipate capacity, oversee queue depth, and enhance integrations-per-specialist-quarter after quarter. The systems necessary for achieving this (tooling, templates, SOPs) are yours to develop.
• Oversee end-to-end integration delivery: scoping, building, QA, and handoff. You convert customer and partner requirements into clear technical scopes and represent integration realities — such as rate limits, deprecation risks, and partner constraints — in all design reviews.
• Manage the integration portfolio as a valuable ongoing business asset: monitor usage, error rates, partner SLAs, and incident response. You make informed decisions regarding maintenance, deprecation, and version upgrades based on a clear cost/benefit analysis rather than default assumptions.
• Cultivate meaningful partner relationships: key integration partners engage with you. You handle technical escalations, participate in co-building discussions, and explore co-marketing opportunities — serving as a credible point of contact and bringing valuable opportunities back for the commercial team.
• Facilitate integration-led deals with Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Product: conduct feasibility calls, negotiate contract language, oversee rollouts, and ensure retention. When integrations pose challenges to closing a deal, you are present and actively contribute your insights.
• A minimum of 2 years managing a technical or technical-adjacent team, demonstrating the ability to elevate junior members to senior roles.
• Proficient in integration techniques: REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and common iPaaS and middleware patterns. You can read code, engage effectively in design discussions, and quickly differentiate between customer configuration issues and product bugs.
• Experience in developing systems that enhance team throughput, including tooling, templates, and runbooks, with measurable before-and-after outcomes.
• Comfortable navigating both engineering reviews and partner discussions. You can transition from a technical escalation with a partner to a feasibility call with Sales seamlessly.
• Strong capacity-planning instincts: you understand the team’s limits, recognize what should not be committed to, and know how to decline opportunities while maintaining positive relationships.
• Possess an ownership mentality: you are driven by outcomes rather than being constrained by scope.
• Equity in a rapidly growing startup.
• A competitive benefits package tailored to your location.
• A flexible time-off policy.
• Parental Leave.
• A fun-loving and slightly nerdy team that enjoys moving quickly!
