This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Recruiting engineers to expand both new and existing teams within the company, overseeing all team members appointed to the squad.
β’ Addressing challenges for millions of users, ranging from local businesses to our largest enterprise clients.

β’ Coaching, mentoring, and onboarding new members of the engineering team.
β’ Ensuring the career progression, satisfaction, and productivity of the engineers on your team.
β’ Identifying future technical requirements and formulating plans to fulfill them.
β’ Offering feedback and guidance to facilitate our continuous growth and scaling efforts.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of Software Engineers.
β’ Over 10 years of overall development experience (preferably Ruby on Rails, though proficiency in other languages such as Python, Go, and PHP is acceptable).
β’ Previous experience leading software development teams with a focus on Product Growth (including Activation, Retention, Onboarding, and Monetization).
β’ Strong expertise in web application development and SaaS.
β’ Experience in planning and executing large-scale development projects.
β’ Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams, driving them towards significant objectives with consistent delivery.
β’ Prior experience in a service-oriented architecture; bonus points for migrating a monolithic application to services.
β’ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
β’ Experience in leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
β’ Previous experience collaborating within a balanced engineering and product team.
β’ Familiarity with MVC frameworks for backend development.
β’ Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, providing timely and effective responses to critical business alerts outside regular working hours.
