This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and cultivate a multidisciplinary team of engineers, setting a high standard for ownership, execution, and operational excellence.
• Take charge of the systems and engineering practices related to CI/CD, release automation, and environment management throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with other directorates to define standards for thoroughly tested releases, rollback procedures, and operational readiness, ensuring teams can deliver safely and predictably.
• Integrate security controls directly into the software delivery lifecycle, encompassing SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, artifact integrity, and policy enforcement.
• Minimize deployment risks, reduce recovery times, and establish clear operational expectations regarding release quality, uptime, and incident response.
• Collaborate with various technical teams to offer support for reusable tooling, diverse deployment patterns, and reproducible workflows that enhance delivery without causing bottlenecks.
• Develop systems and processes that facilitate traceability, access control, change management, and compliance requirements within regulated customer environments.
• Over 5 years of management experience, ideally in software development.
• Strong operational ownership combined with a proactive approach.
• Excellent judgement in high-pressure situations.
• Experience with release trains.
• Knowledge of air-gapped environments.
• Proven track record of enhancing release quality and organizational performance.
• Solid understanding of GitOps principles, with experience in enforcing declarative, automated, auditable, and controlled change promotions across environments.
