Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical strategy and influence of the Beta Workflows team, overseeing its capabilities, quality, and capacity.

• Lead and develop the team, actively engaging in the recruitment and retention of team members.

• Write high-quality production code and offer valuable and constructive feedback by reviewing the designs and work of others.

• Establish consistent coding standards; ensure testing and bug fixing are integral to the process while guiding your team to uphold the same standards.

• Contribute to Stellar’s Engineering Culture by participating in cross-organizational technical and leadership forums to foster a high-performing organization.

• Collaborate with senior engineering and product leaders to align on product roadmaps, specifications, and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of overall experience, including recent hands-on experience in writing production-level code (Python preferred, Java, C++, or Go).

• At least three years of experience managing software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance.

• Proficiency in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Django or a similar web framework.

• Expertise in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
