Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team dedicated to the development, support, and maintenance of Enterprise Performance Management products.

• Direct the team in design and architecture, create proof of concepts, ensure high-quality code, and review pull requests.

• Shape the product roadmap to include essential technical investments.

• Provide timely feedback, hold one-on-one meetings, conduct annual reviews, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams to create optimal technical designs and approaches for product development.

• Manage and execute project plans while adhering to delivery commitments.

• Take ownership of developing features and fixing bugs, ensuring the code is clean, reusable, and maintainable in .Net, C#, Oracle, and Angular.

• Lead, evaluate, and mentor team members during code reviews and architecture discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in managing, motivating, and retaining a high-performance software engineering team.

• Over 12 years of experience in designing and developing SaaS web applications using the .Net/C# stack, preferably within a product development environment.

• At least 2 years of experience in team management.

• More than 5 years of experience with database technologies such as SQL and Entity Framework.

• Familiarity with Oracle databases, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and scripts is advantageous.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks and concepts.

• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with GIT.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong collaboration abilities, with experience in a small-team setting.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, SASS/CSS, Angular, and Typescript is a plus.

• Experience with AI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Devin is an added advantage.

• Background in building applications in the financial domain is beneficial.

• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure or AWS, is a plus.
