Engineering Intern, July Intake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Acquire skills in coding that address genuine challenges rather than merely fulfilling assignments.

• Inquire about the reasoning behind feature development, not just the methods of implementation.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers in small teams to create functionalities that will be used by real users.

• Engage in code reviews and team discussions to grasp how technical choices affect the business.

• Gain practical experience throughout the entire development cycle, from concept to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid grounding in programming fundamentals (essential data structures, algorithms) acquired through coursework or self-study.

• Conceptual understanding of how web applications function (client-server, databases, APIs).

• Some familiarity with any programming language - we utilize Go for backend development but will provide necessary training.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and some exposure to any contemporary framework.

• An inquisitive mind regarding the purpose of code, not just its functionality.

• Willingness to ask questions when concepts are unclear instead of passively following instructions.

• Proficiency in English for effective team communication.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent self-taught expertise).
