Engineer – VAS Planning & Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage system strategy, which encompasses HW/SW lifecycle management, load forecasting, dimensioning, and execution budgeting.

• Partner and contract management:

• - Define and control contract scope and terms (supply, service, NDA).

• - Prepare the technical aspects of contracts (solution description, scope of work, scope of supply).

• Initiate and engage in tenders:

• - Define technical requirements (architecture, features, services, etc.).

• - Analyze offers and seek clarifications from participants.

• - Conduct technical evaluations.

• Lead system deployment, system expansion, and new services (HW/SW/services):

• - Initiate purchase orders.

• - Coordinate HW supply with partners and logistics functions.

• - Oversee SW supply, including the preparation of necessary documents.

• - Coordinate efforts with partners, O&M teams, and other supporting functions: prepare plans, schedules, supervise execution, and maintain control.

• Gather business requirements and develop technical specifications for new services/solutions.

• Provide consultancy to businesses regarding system functionalities.

• Support the execution of complex tasks during maintenance windows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE architecture.

• Understanding of PS domain elements:

• - PCRF/PCEF/TDF, DRA, OCS, DPI, GGSN/PGW.

• - Relevant 3GPP interfaces.

• - Signaling protocols: GTP, Diameter.

• Familiarity with IP networks.

• English proficiency: Pre-intermediate level or above.

• Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of 5G architecture, SQL proficiency, and experience with Linux-based operating systems.
