This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Oversee specific Supplier Quality initiatives for manufacturing locations and business divisions, which encompass managing supplier issues, supporting supplier qualifications, handling PPAP/part qualifications, prioritizing audits, and enhancing supplier performance.
• Collaborate with various functions and suppliers to facilitate root-cause analysis, mitigate risks, and ensure a sustained decrease in supplier nonconformances.
• Assess audit prioritization based on supplier risk and performance metrics, communicating findings to suppliers and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and manage processes for reporting issues, handling nonconformances, deviations, SCAR, and managing complaints.
• Oversee the management of supplier corrective and preventive actions, driving root-cause investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as the liaison for suppliers regarding escalation of inspection and testing concerns, ensuring adherence to product control protocols.
• Ensure documentation compliance by reviewing records for accuracy and completeness, and approving updated documentation as necessary.
• Formulate and implement Quality Agreements and PPAP documentation to support the supplier qualification process.
• Leverage PPI and data analysis to address performance gaps and enhance supplier quality processes.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or a relevant combination of education and experience is essential for professional, management, and leadership positions.
• Quality auditor training is preferred for positions at bands 4-6.
• Quality lead auditor training is preferred or required for higher-level professional roles depending on business needs.
• Experience in supplier audits, supplier qualifications, PPAP/part qualifications, supplier issue management, and corrective actions is favored.
• Typical experience ranges from 5-8 years in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business Processes, or related areas.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards is required; experience with ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, 21 CFR Part 210/211, ISO 14971, MDSAP, or other applicable requirements is preferred based on the business context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and establish strong relationships with suppliers, internal clients, and stakeholders.
• Capability to analyze data, summarize outcomes, create metrics, identify risks, and initiate improvement actions.
