Engineer 2 – Field Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Responsible for all on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets, as well as overseeing the construction and commissioning of both new and existing equipment at customer locations.

• Includes services such as onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Capable of making engineering decisions.

• Developing a foundational understanding of the professional discipline.

• May encompass support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.

• Utilize general business knowledge acquired through education or previous experience.

• Recognizes how the work of their team contributes to the overall objectives.

• Effectively resolves issues by employing established procedures.

• Consults with supervisors or more experienced team members for matters beyond defined instructions or parameters.

• Collaborates with others to address and solve issues.

• In customer-facing roles, cultivates strong customer relationships and acts as the liaison between the customer and GE HealthCare.

• Shares technical information, poses questions, and verifies understanding.

⛳️ Requirements

• This position requires foundational experience in Services & Field Services.

• Knowledge level is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
