This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous, secure, and auditable deliveries.
• Evolve our Kubernetes platform—manifests, charts, operators, and cluster policies—adhering to the GitOps model.
• Serve as the technical reference for the team: lead architectural decisions, spearhead important initiatives, and support the technical direction of the platform.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC), promoting standardization and reuse.
• Collaborate with development teams on continuous integration, define deployment strategies (blue/green, canary), and resolve bottlenecks in the pipeline.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of services, proactively addressing alerts and incidents.
• Track and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, applying FinOps practices (identifying waste, rightsizing, planning for reservations/savings plans, among others).
• Assist in building and evolving metrics, SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and alerts within our observability stack.
• Maintain and operate messaging services and queues utilized by development teams.
• Implement security practices at all stages of the application lifecycle (shift-left), including secret management, image scanning, and cluster hardening.
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support the modernization of legacy environments, migrating workloads to Kubernetes and standardizing tools and processes.
• Promote a DevOps culture by disseminating best practices, documenting processes, and mentoring colleagues on tools and workflows adopted by the team.
• Contribute to the technical planning of the platform, providing improvement proposals, trade-off analyses, and proof of concept.
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with automation tools and infrastructure as code (Terraform and Ansible).
• Experience in cloud environment operations.
• Experience in Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and versioning standards in Git.
• Understanding of observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing) and tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalents.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash and Python for daily automations.
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, TLS, and security applied to cloud-native environments.
• Technical English for reading documentation.
