This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance the cellular architecture of Asaas, ensuring scalability and resilience;

• Engage in key architectural topics such as: inter-cell communication, setup and provisioning, centralized back office, external integrations, and governance standards;

• Transform business logic into high-quality code while adhering to standards and best practices;

• Review code and provide technical feedback to colleagues;

• Monitor and optimize solutions in production, assessing performance, errors, and availability;

• Break down large initiatives into smaller, cohesive deliveries;

• Develop reusable components and abstractions, promoting consistency across cells;

• Support other engineering teams in technical decision-making, acting as architectural consultancy;

• Document and communicate architectural decisions clearly, considering trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in web systems development;

• Proficiency in frameworks, libraries, and tools (Java, Python, JS, Ruby, or similar);

• Experience with object-oriented programming and service integration via REST APIs and message queues;

• Familiarity with relational databases;

• Knowledge of Git and deployment pipelines (CI/CD);

• Solid understanding of best practices, standards, and principles in software engineering;

• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP);

• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/delivery practices;

• Knowledge of software architectural styles;

• Technical proficiency in English.
