Engenheiro de Dados Pleno – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development and maintenance of our cloud data architecture.

• Build, optimize, and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines, with a strong focus on the AWS environment.

• Develop data integrations with Salesforce platforms, enabling tracking, segmentation creation, and campaign activation.

• Participate in the discovery and mapping of technical requirements alongside business areas, aligning deliverables with the squad's roadmap.

• Create database routines (procedures and complex queries) for data transformation, treatment, and quality validation.

• Ensure data reliability by performing troubleshooting, maintaining processes, and implementing continuous improvements.

• Promote a culture of code quality by advocating for and participating in code reviews, while monitoring the deployment pipelines in production.

• Collaborate effectively, maintaining close relationships with various business and technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering and development within a Cloud environment (AWS).

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and Shell Script.

• Solid experience with modern data tools, including Spark, Airflow, and dbt.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (queries, programming, and optimization).

• Technical expertise in Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling.

• Experience with developing Cloud Functions (Serverless), code versioning (Git), and familiarity with DevOps culture (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins).

• Knowledge or practical experience with other cloud architectures (GCP) will be an advantage.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging (Kafka) will be a plus.

• Knowledge in building dashboards and reports in Power BI will be a differentiator.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and DataOps practices will be a plus.
