This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructures to ensure the efficient collection, processing, and availability of information.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, security, and scalability of data throughout all stages of its lifecycle.

• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to enable data-driven solutions.

• Implement and uphold best practices in data governance, cataloging, and management.

• Monitor and enhance the performance of data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.

• Support the definition and maintenance of data models for analytical and operational needs.

• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.

• Contribute to the automation and standardization of processes within the data ecosystem.

• Participate in the assessment and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of the data environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Analytical capability, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

• Understanding of data security, governance, and quality.

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, system integration, and handling large volumes of data.

• Knowledge in data modeling and best practices in data architecture.

• Experience with cloud tools and services, preferably Google Cloud Platform — BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer or equivalents in AWS/Azure.

• Proficiency in data-focused programming languages, especially Python and/or SQL.

• Proven experience in data engineering, including the development and maintenance of pipelines in a production environment.

• Preferred: Data orchestration tools; agile environments and continuous delivery; cataloging and governance tools; Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh; version control and CI/CD; infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
