Energy Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Provide an exceptional customer experience as part of an innovative initiative.

• Ensure that window heat pumps are correctly sized, installed, and functioning safely and efficiently.

• Manage the inventory of window heat pumps within the program.

• Organize repairs and replacements of equipment.

• Conduct quality assurance inspections after installations.

• Act as a reliable resource for customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

• Make certain that every installation complies with the program's quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with contractors, program personnel, and utility partners to guarantee the successful execution of the program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capability to inspect mechanical equipment and identify installation problems.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in the field.

• Comfortable conveying technical information to homeowners.

• Proficient in using tablets, mobile applications, and Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the service area.

• Prior experience in a virtual work environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Background in HVAC, heat pumps, energy efficiency, weatherization, home performance, or residential construction is preferred.

• EPA Section 608 Certification, BPI Certification, HVAC licensure, or similar technical qualifications are a plus.

• An associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent field experience is preferred.
