Energy Procurement Consultant, Romanian/Hungarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Engage with E&C clients and suppliers across Central Europe.

• Assist clients in reducing risks associated with energy purchases.

• Support clients in their procurement and renewable energy strategies.

• Negotiate energy contracts effectively.

• Perform market analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and the competitive environment in energy risk management.

• Identify sustainable solutions such as solar, wind, and cogeneration, and aid clients in securing these contracts.

• Explore renewable power purchase agreement options for clients.

• Analyze tendering data, draw insights, and execute calculations.

• Stay updated on energy market trends and local regulations, sharing insights with clients.

• Travel as necessary to meet with clients, participate in industry events, and collaborate on an international scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication skills, resilience, curiosity, a desire to learn, and creativity in problem-solving.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage various priorities simultaneously.

• Proficient in English, along with Romanian or Hungarian.

• Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation and the ability to draw conclusions and perform calculations during tendering processes.

• 1–2 years of experience in roles that involve direct client interaction is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Consulting, Business or Energy Management, or a related field is advantageous.

• A foundational understanding of energy markets and risk management solutions is a plus.

• A genuine interest in energy, specifically regarding market trends and local regulations.

• Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and international collaboration.
