This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and spearhead the global energy intelligence capability.
• Ensure the provision of accurate, reliable, and actionable energy insights that support energy sourcing strategies, cost optimization, risk management, sustainability goals, and strategic decision-making.
• Take ownership of global energy data governance, analytics, performance reporting, and market intelligence.
• Establish a unified source of truth for energy-related information across regions, manufacturing sites, and business functions.
• Collaborate with external energy consultants to align on O-I strategy and reporting requirements.
• Partner with Global Energy & Risk Management, Procurement, Finance & Controlling, Sustainability, Operations, regional energy teams, and the enterprise Data & Analytics Hub.
• Transform energy data into actionable business intelligence through advanced analytics, digital solutions, automation, and AI-enabled decision support.
• Work alongside the Procurement Strategy & Excellence Centre of Excellence to define procurement analytics standards, digital priorities, value measurement, and enterprise reporting.
• Lead global energy data governance, reporting standards, and analytics capabilities.
• Create dashboards, KPIs, forecasts, and performance reporting tools.
• Provide market intelligence on energy trends, pricing, regulations, risks, and opportunities.
• Champion AI, automation, predictive analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, ROI modeling, savings validation, and value realization tracking.
• Develop executive dashboards and presentations that translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in energy analytics, procurement analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, commodity markets, or related sectors.
• Experience in multinational and matrix or helix organizations.
• Proven track record of supporting executive-level decision-making through analytics and insights.
• Proficient in managing large datasets, automating reporting processes, and developing dashboards.
• Experience in manufacturing, energy-intensive industries, or commodity markets is preferred.
• A Master's degree, MBA, or relevant analytical qualification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% of the time.
