This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and utilizing networking opportunities.
• Relationship Building: Develop and sustain robust relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships while ensuring customer satisfaction and renewals.
• Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy requirements, risk tolerance, and determine how our solutions can best serve them.
• Continuously Learning: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Sales Presentations: Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations, effectively conveying the advantages of energy products and services to potential clients.
• Negotiation and Closing: Address client inquiries and objections to finalize sales and meet revenue goals.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with broader business objectives.
• CRM Management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as HubSpot, to track leads, manage accounts, and enhance the sales process.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the energy sector (retail gas and/or electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B outside sales.
• Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other avenues.
• Ability to thrive with a high degree of autonomy while embracing a collaborative sales process, demonstrating resilience and steadfast determination in achieving success.
• Show the capability to effectively work within a team while independently driving sales initiatives, contributing to both personal and collective achievements.
• Possess ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
• BA/BS degree is preferred.
• Base salary plus commission with uncapped earning potential.
