Endpoint Engineer – EUC, OS Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct a technical evaluation of the existing endpoint management landscape, focusing on device configurations, policies, and management infrastructure.

• Diagnose and resolve endpoint-related issues in partnership with engineering and operations teams.

• Assist in reviewing, validating, and remediating configurations across managed devices.

• Contribute to the planning and execution of an endpoint OS migration project, covering sequencing, readiness, and deployment support.

• Engage in technical working sessions to assess findings, suggest recommendations, and aid in implementation efforts.

• Ensure operational stability throughout migration processes, including the identification and resolution of cross-system dependencies.

• Provide practical engineering support across endpoint tools, management platforms, and related infrastructure as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust experience in Endpoint Engineering, EUC, or Desktop Engineering settings.

• Proficient with enterprise endpoint management solutions (e.g., IGEL, VMware Horizon, Citrix, Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms).

• Practical experience in supporting OS migrations or initiatives aimed at modernizing endpoints.

• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities across endpoint, connectivity, and policy/configuration layers.

• Knowledge of virtual desktop or thin client environments is advantageous.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment with evolving priorities.

• Strong communication abilities and a knack for collaborating with technical stakeholders.
