This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems that significantly enhance clinical care and patient management.
• Support system testing and document the outcomes of these tests.
• Develop technical solutions and apply the development lifecycle processes to implement and support system solutions.
• Collaborate on clinical systems training and create environments to ensure they are up-to-date and user-friendly for end-user training.
• Independently create educational technology content for relevant applications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and engage in process enhancement initiatives.
• Take responsibility for tasks and effectively communicate any issues or obstacles encountered.
• Facilitate communication regarding project-related issues and developments.
• Attend and participate in design and leadership team meetings.
• Consult with end users to ensure that clinical system applications and training programs effectively support patient care delivery processes.
• Network with industry experts to identify best practices for the use and training of clinical systems.
• Advocate for the use of industry best practice tools to enhance efficiency and deliver innovative education.
• Stay current in the field by engaging in educational opportunities offered by vendors and other connections.
• Conduct instructional sessions and foster positive relationships within the organization.
• Support and/or lead the design, development, and implementation of application requests.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders regarding assigned tasks.
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 2 years of work experience in a related field.
• Epic Radiant certification (or a commitment to obtain it within six (6) months of hiring).
• Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Lumens, Cupid, Ambulatory, OpTime, or related modules) are preferred.
• More than 3 years of experience supporting Epic systems in a healthcare setting, including system build, configuration, testing, and optimization.
• Proven experience supporting radiology, imaging, or endoscopy workflows, including order-to-result and modality integration processes.
• Experience collaborating with Radiology, procedural areas, and clinical operations to translate workflow requirements into system solutions.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows in both inpatient and outpatient imaging and procedural settings.
• Experience in participating in or leading moderately complex projects, including enhancements, upgrades, or system implementations.
• Background in troubleshooting system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and engaging in process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in developing and delivering end-user training or educational materials to facilitate system adoption.
• Familiarity with integration points between Epic and third-party imaging systems (e.g., PACS, VNA, or other radiology technologies and image capture platforms).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
