This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Engage with and assist a caseload of jobseekers within the community, identifying obstacles and formulating customized action plans to facilitate their transition into employment.
β’ Provide personalized one-on-one guidance, including support with CV writing, interview preparation, and skills enhancement.
β’ Consistently meet and surpass performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Work collaboratively with participants to boost their confidence and assist them in securing and maintaining employment.
β’ Connect with local employers to uncover job opportunities.
β’ Refer participants to both internal and external resources for support with health, housing, financial issues, and other barriers.
β’ Advocate for the Connect to Work programme within the community to generate referrals.
β’ Participate in local community events to promote awareness of the programme.
β’ Offer inclusive support and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
β’ Proven coaching or mentoring experience and strong persuasion/influencing skills acquired through previous employment or social activities.
β’ Background in a customer-facing environment, such as customer service, hospitality, social care, or sales.
β’ Experience in a dynamic, performance-focused setting.
β’ Willingness to travel locally to meet with customers and employers.
β’ A valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
β’ A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
β’ GCSE English Language at a minimum Grade B, or an equivalent Level 2 qualification, Level 2 Literacy Assessment at interview, or an international equivalent.
β’ Proficiency in more than one language is a plus.
β’ Experience in community engagement is desirable.
