Employer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with external clients to address claim and customer service issues raised by clients or Client Management.

• Investigate and resolve various issues.

• Suggest enhancements to processes and procedures to prevent recurrence or avoid future complications.

• Maintain communication with clients, Operations, and Client Management.

• Monitor and track issues systematically.

• Provide service to assigned clients as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

• At least five years of experience in claim processing or the health insurance sector.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in researching topics, summarizing conclusions, and formulating recommendations.

• Effective collaboration skills with employees/members, providers, clients, Client Managers, and all staff levels.

• Strong understanding of ERISA and DOL regulations.

• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).

• Open-minded and adaptable to ongoing process improvements.

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven critical thinking abilities.

• Capable of managing problems in diverse situations and achieving resolutions.

• Ability to learn proprietary systems, adapt to various platforms, and effectively utilize MS Excel/Word.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: Strong presentation skills.

• Preferred: Experience in presenting and explaining benefits to individuals or groups.
