Employer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with external clients to address claim and customer service challenges initiated by clients or Client Management.

• Investigate and resolve issues effectively.

• Propose enhancements to processes and procedures to prevent recurrence or avert future issues.

• Engage in communication with clients, Operations, and Client Management.

• Monitor and track issues diligently.

• Provide service to assigned clients as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.

• At least five years of experience in claim processing or the health insurance sector.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service-focused environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in researching topics, summarizing findings, and crafting recommendations.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, members, providers, clients, Client Managers, and staff at various levels.

• Strong understanding of ERISA and DOL regulations.

• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).

• Adaptable and open to ongoing process improvements.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven critical thinking abilities.

• Skillful in managing diverse problems and achieving resolutions.

• Quick to learn new or proprietary systems and adapt to various platforms.

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: Strong presentation skills.

• Preferred: Experience in presenting and explaining benefits to individuals or groups.
