Employer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with external clients to address claims and customer service concerns raised by clients or Client Management.

• Investigate and resolve issues effectively.

• Suggest enhancements in processes and procedures to prevent recurrence or avert future problems.

• Maintain communication with clients, Operations, and Client Management.

• Track and oversee issues diligently.

• Provide services to assigned clients as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least five years of experience in claim processing or the health insurance sector.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in researching topics, summarizing findings, and formulating recommendations.

• Skill in collaborating effectively with employees/members, providers, clients, Client Managers, and staff at various levels.

• Strong knowledge of ERISA and DOL regulations.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).

• Open to ongoing process improvement and flexibility.

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven critical thinking abilities.

• Proficiency in resolving problems across diverse situations.

• Ability to learn proprietary systems and adapt to different system platforms.

• Effective use of MS Excel and Word.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Strong presentation skills are preferred.

• Experience in presenting and explaining benefits to groups or individuals is preferred.
