Employer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with external customers to address claim and customer service concerns raised by clients or Client Management.

• Investigate and resolve issues effectively.

• Suggest enhancements to processes and procedures to prevent recurrence of problems or avert future issues.

• Engage in communication with clients, Operations, and Client Management.

• Monitor and track issues diligently.

• Provide service to assigned clients as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• A minimum of five years of experience in claim processing or the health insurance industry.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in researching topics, summarizing findings, and formulating recommendations.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, members, providers, clients, Client Managers, and all levels of staff.

• Strong understanding of ERISA and DOL regulations.

• Competence in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).

• Adaptable and receptive to ongoing process improvements.

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven critical thinking abilities.

• Competent in resolving problems in diverse situations.

• Proficient in learning new or proprietary systems and adapting to different system platforms.

• Effective use of MS Excel and Word.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: Strong presentation skills.

• Preferred: Experience in presenting and explaining benefits to groups or individuals.
