This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Facilitate technical discussions and presentations with enterprise clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their architectural needs and business objectives.
• Experience with AI, keeping abreast of AI trends and applications; preference for those who have initiated their AI journey with orchestration tools, Agentic AI, and agent development.
• Strong grasp of Kafka technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of APIs and software development practices.
• Design and execute proof-of-concept projects and tailored demonstrations that highlight Kong's capabilities in System Integration, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery environments.
• Offer expert advice on SRE Observability strategies, assisting customers in monitoring and optimizing their API infrastructure.
• Leverage your expertise in Linux, Docker, and Git to troubleshoot intricate technical challenges and deliver advanced support.
• Promote the integration of Automation Technology within client environments to enhance efficient API lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to provide market insights and contribute to product development initiatives.
• Guide junior solutions engineers and enhance the team's technical knowledge repository.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing strong project management abilities and delivering results within established timelines.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through outstanding technical communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, technical architect, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
• Solid experience in AIOps and/or substantial Kafka expertise.
• Proven proficiency in API Design and API Management principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, JWT, etc.) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems and containerization technologies, such as Docker.
• Extensive experience utilizing Git for version control and collaborative software development.
• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
• Proven experience with SRE observability tools and methodologies.
• Strong comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its various stages.
• Experience with Automation Technology and scripting for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Exceptional technical communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
