Embedded Software Engineer – Automotive RTOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Engaging in projects related to automated driving, vehicle dynamics, and electric drive functionalities.

• Configuring AUTOSAR BSW and MCAL modules using various vendors such as Vector and Elektrobit.

• Taking responsibility for feature development within our integration team.

• Capable of debugging code for microcontroller targets utilizing TRACE32.

• Contributing as a member of an agile software integration team while adhering to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in real-time environments and communication protocols.

• Skilled in C programming for embedded systems and debugging processes.

• Familiarity with electronics, including microcontrollers and schematics.

• Experience with ECU bus communications such as SPI, CAN, or Ethernet.

• Collaborative development experience using centralized issue trackers like JIRA and version control systems like SVN or GIT.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Understanding of AUTOSAR and BSW configuration.

• Expertise in debugging within a multicore environment.

• Proficient in debugging with TRACE32.

• Experience with Makefiles and linkers.

• Familiarity with requirements handling and tools such as DOORS or PTC.

• Knowledge of Python scripting.

• Valuable experience working directly with clients.

• Experience in safety-related software development (e.g., ISO 26262) in an agile setting (e.g., SCRUM).

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Wireshark, CANoe, or VectorCAST.
