
Embedded Linux Developer β Zephyr

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Design, develop, debug, document, and sustain embedded software components, drivers, and device-level functionalities.
β’ Create firmware solutions for industrial pump systems and embedded devices.
β’ Operate within Embedded Linux and Zephyr RTOS environments.
β’ Implement and oversee low-level hardware interaction and communication interfaces.
β’ Evaluate technical methodologies and offer recommendations to the customer and project team.
β’ Debug and resolve software issues on actual embedded hardware.
β’ Engage in software and hardware integration activities.
β’ Collaborate with project managers, quality assurance engineers, DevOps specialists, and embedded developers throughout the development lifecycle.
β’ Identify and escalate technical risks, obstacles, and architectural concerns when necessary.
β’ Over 5 years of commercial experience in embedded software development using C.
β’ Strong practical experience with Embedded Linux development and debugging.
β’ Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS / ZephyrOS or a robust RTOS background with a willingness to work extensively with Zephyr.
β’ Experience with STM32, Nordic, or similar ARM-based microcontrollers.
β’ Solid understanding of low-level embedded development concepts, including peripherals, interrupts, memory management, boot flow, and hardware interaction.
β’ Proven experience in designing and implementing embedded software modules, drivers, and firmware components.
β’ Practical experience with embedded communication interfaces and protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, Modbus, CAN, RS-485, or Ethernet.
β’ Experience in debugging and troubleshooting software on physical embedded devices.
β’ Familiarity with embedded security concepts, including bootloaders, secure firmware updates, firmware signing/encryption, authentication, and secure communication.
β’ An upper-intermediate or higher level of English will be an advantage.
β’ Experience with MQTT.
β’ Knowledge of Profibus or other industrial communication protocols.
β’ Familiarity with FatFS, LittleFS, lwIP, or similar embedded libraries/stacks.
β’ Employees have the option to work remotely.
