Eligibility Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage and authorize enrollment requests for State Funds and updates concerning Medicaid and State-funded members submitted by provider agencies.

• Oversee Medicaid eligibility and third-party insurance coverage for members.

• Inform relevant staff about alterations or gaps in coverage that may impact service delivery.

• Confirm that members are correctly enrolled as Trillium members based on Medicaid eligibility data and State Funded eligibility standards.

• Provide education to staff regarding the different types of Medicaid and third-party insurance coverage that members possess.

• Validate essential member information within Trillium’s software system.

• Make necessary corrections in the software system in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Conduct eligibility data integrity checks and implement corrections as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED along with one (1) year of clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience related to computer usage.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Must be a resident of North Carolina.

• Ability to travel within the designated catchment area as required.

• Preferred: experience in the healthcare sector and/or familiarity with Medicaid eligibility.

• Must successfully pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
