• Manage physical documents and paper records to confirm the eligibility of patients or members for healthcare services.
• Evaluate paper forms, applications, or supporting documents to collect and verify information including insurance coverage, demographic details, and eligibility criteria.
• Structure paper-based eligibility documents by developing and maintaining filing systems, ensuring appropriate document storage, and implementing methods to enhance accessibility and retrieval of information.
• Examine the paper-based information and documentation to assess the eligibility of patients or members for healthcare services.
• Conduct manual data entry tasks to input eligibility information into appropriate systems or databases.
• Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and industry standards concerning paper-based eligibility operations to preserve patient confidentiality.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of paper-based eligibility operations.
• Participate in regular, timely feedback sessions, along with a formal performance review process, to guarantee exceptional service delivery and support engagement, motivation, and personal growth.
• Produce reports and analyze data related to paper-based eligibility operations to facilitate process improvement, address bottlenecks, and aid in decision-making.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be a resident of Phoenix, Arizona.
