This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for overseeing, validating, and enhancing the electronic exchange of data among internal systems, clients, and external partners.
• Ensure data precision, prompt delivery, appropriate formatting, and compliance with quality standards while resolving delivery challenges.
• Lead the strategy and ongoing enhancement of the company’s Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) solutions for environmental testing clients.
• Manage the preparation, validation, and submission of Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) in formats required by clients and regulatory standards.
• Supervise daily electronic data exchange operations, including automated feeds, APIs, secure file transfers, and batch processing tasks.
• Guarantee data quality and compliance through validation, quality control, and review of project-specific and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams, project management, business units, IT, and client stakeholders to facilitate data delivery and onboarding processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data delivery, data operations, systems support, or similar technical/data-oriented roles.
• Practical experience with electronic file formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, TXT, or Excel.
• Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS).
• Familiarity with APIs, EDI, or automated data exchange systems.
• Preferred: Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Background in assisting external customers or partners with technical data inquiries.
• Understanding of data governance, audit controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards (e.g., EPA guidelines).
• Experience with workflow automation tools, ETL/ELT pipelines, or data integration platforms.
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) formats (e.g., EQuIS, EarthSoft, ERPIMS, FUDSCHEM, custom client templates).
• Experience in Production Laboratory Operations or Support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
