Electrical Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret construction documents, which include drawings, specifications, and narratives.

• Engage in both client and internal project initiation meetings.

• Create and submit RFIs while obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Execute electrical quantity take-offs utilizing OST, Sage, BIM, and various estimating software.

• Utilize historical data, vendor quotes, and market benchmarks to apply relevant unit pricing.

• Perform comparative cost analyses to uncover opportunities for budget alignment.

• Foster strong, positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Compile organized and standardized estimate reports for both client and internal purposes.

• Provide estimates and ensure timely follow-up with clients.

• Assist in documentation efforts for project closeout as necessary.

• Contribute to enhancements in electrical estimating processes and best practices.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred familiarity with building electrical systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with OST or similar estimating software is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.

• Capable of effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
